Following the Government announcement on Saturday 31st October 2020 it is with regret that both our centres will close at the end of normal hours on Wednesday 4th November. We hope to re-open on the current proposed date of Wednesday 2nd December, however this may change if the Government extend or lift the National lockdown. Hopefully you can find answers to any questions or concerns below however if not pleasedo email us.
In the meantime – please stay safe, stay healthy and continue to follow the Government guidelines,
Please be rest assured you will not be out of pocket. Sadly, the Government announcement was too late for us to freeze your November payment being taken which was due today (2nd November), we are aware you will not make use of your membership during November so we will instead transfer the payments to December when we have re-opened. To clarify your membership will restart when we reopen on 2nd December however no fees will be collected. The next collection will be 1st January 2021. PLEASE NOTE: you DO NOT need to do anything for this. We will do it for you. Please do not cancel your direct debit
Annual members we will extend your membership by 28 days to cover the closure and will contact you with you new renewal date.
Swimming Lessons will run Monday 2nd – Wednesday 4th November. All classes after this have been cancelled. Again, as like the previous closure all pre-paid sessions will get credited to each child and be used on the next block. We hope to restart on Wednesday 2nd December with children automatically continuing where we left. We will be in touch to confirm
Those of you who have pre-paid in advance for a Class, Gym or Swim session from Thursday 5th onwards we have a record of your booking and we will be in touch to arrange you this payment to be moved onto another session when we re-open. Please bear with us while we get in touch.
How You Can Help
Teme Leisure is a social enterprise with exempt charity status and we operate as a not for profit organisation working for the benefit of the local communities we serve; we are therefore sending a plea for support from you during these extremely difficult financial times.
We have been overwhelmed by the response and kind messages you have been sending in with ways to help. Many members have kindly offered to continue paying to help support the centre during this closure period. We are aware that not everyone is in a position to be able to do this, however should you wish to very kindly ‘donate’ your membership fee we have created this online form for you to complete in order for us to action: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/supportteme
PLEASE NOTE we will not collect any fees unless you are happy with this and complete this online form
